Three mighty giants of Russian music--Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Shostakovich. After several highly-praised appearances, Jaap van Zweden returns to lead Tchaikovsky's beloved Fourth Symphony, which complements Rimsky-Korsakov's solemn Russian Easter Overture. Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony features the Orchestra's virtuosic strings.
