Van Cliburn: A Tribute

The late American pianist Van Cliburn had a long and cherished relationship with Philadelphia audiences and our great orchestra. We pay tribute to his memory and his musical legacy by presenting the very first orchestra engagement by the Grand Prize winner of the 2013 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, an event close to Mr. Cliburn’s heart. You’ll be among the first to applaud this new talent after the announcement of the winners in June.
