The Philadelphia Orchestra Hosts Food Drive to Benefit Philabundance as Part of the Nationwide “Orchestras Feeding America” Campaign

The Philadelphia Orchestra will host a food drive as part of “Orchestras Feeding America”—the first national food drive by America’s symphony orchestras. Orchestra representatives will collect non-perishable food one hour prior to the Orchestra’s concerts on March 27 and 28, 2009, in Commonwealth Plaza at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. All food will be donated to Philabundance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley.
