How to Buy

Found a concert that you’d like to attend? There are now more ways than ever to make purchasing your tickets fast and easy. Choose one of the options below:

Online
Purchase tickets online. A $5.50 per ticket processing service fee is charged.

By Phone
Use your American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card to purchase tickets by calling Ticket Philadelphia at 215.893.1999, Monday through Sunday, 9 am to 8 pm. There is a $5.50 per ticket service fee.

By Fax
Fax a written request, with credit card information, mailing address, and a daytime telephone number to Ticket Philadelphia at 215.893.1833. There is a $5.50 per ticket service fee.

By Mail
Mail a written request, with credit card information and mailing address, to:
The Philadelphia Orchestra, c/o Ticket Philadelphia, 1420 Locust Street, Suite 320, Philadelphia, PA 19102.  There is a $5.30 per ticket service fee.

At the Box Office
The Kimmel Center Box Office
Tickets can be purchased at the Kimmel Center by cash, check, or credit card at the Kimmel Center Box Office located in the main lobby of the Kimmel Center at Broad and Spruce Streets. The Box Office is open daily, 10 am to 6 pm, or until one-half hour after the beginning of the latest performance at the Kimmel Center that day.  There is a $2.00 per ticket service fee.

Tickets for performances at the Academy of Music, Verizon Hall, and the Perelman Theater can also be purchased at the Kimmel Center Box Office.

The Academy of Music Box Office
Located in the front of the Academy on Broad and Locust Streets. Open only one hour before performances in the Academy of Music, until one-half hour after the last performance begins.

The Mann Center for the Performing Arts Box Office
Located at 52nd Street and Parkside Avenue in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park during the summer. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm until one-half hour after performance begins to purchase tickets for The Philadelphia Orchestra.

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center Box Office
Located on Route 50 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Open Monday through Friday, 12 pm to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm to purchase tickets for our August residency. Closed Sunday, unless there is an event; open 2 pm if there is a performance. On days having scheduled events, the Box Office remains open until performance time.

For your convenience a building Maintenance and Renovation fee of $3.00 is added to the price of each ticket over $10.00 for all events in the Academy of Music and in the Kimmel Center.

Ticketing Policy
Ticket Exchanges
Subscribers may exchange their tickets to any subscription concert either by calling Ticket Philadelphia at 215.893.1999 (for a $5.00 per ticket fee), or free by visiting The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts Box Office. Subscribers may exchange their subscription tickets as often as necessary (this does not include the purchase of additional single tickets). Exchanges are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged after the concert has passed. Forty-eight hour notice is appreciated. There are no ticket exchanges for special concerts and non-subscribers.

Single tickets are non-returnable or exchangeable

Ticket Turn-In
Anyone who cannot use their tickets are invited to donate their tickets and receive a tax-deductible credit by calling 215.893.1999. Twenty-four hour notice is appreciated.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for Philadelphia Orchestra concerts, or any performance in the Kimmel Center or the Academy of Music, may be purchased in person at the Kimmel Center Box Office, by phone through Ticket Philadelphia at 215.893.1999 or by mail at Ticket Philadelphia, 1420 Locust Street, Suite 320, Philadelphia, PA 19102, or click here to buy online.
