Antoinette Dubiel, assistant head usher at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, shares her reflections on the atmosphere in Verizon Hall when a new artist makes his or her Philadelphia Orchestra debut.

Julia Fisher will perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto with Christoph Eschenbach and The Philadelphia Orchestra in concerts on April 27, 28, 29 and May 1, 2007. While in Philadelphia, she gives a Master Class on April 25.

Orchestra violinist Barbara Govatos talks about her first time performing with The Philadelphia Orchestra.

Kathleen van Bergen, vice president of artistic planning, talks about the Orchestra’s Albert M. Greenfield Student Competition. We hear from a recent competition winner, violinist Robyn Bolliger, and her father Blair Bolliger, who won the student competition just before winning the audition for the chair of Orchestra bass trombone.
