The second episode of Podchestra from The Philadelphia Orchestra April is the Month of Rising Stars, with Piotr Anderszewski, Janine Jansen, and Julia Fischer taking the stage with The Philadelphia Orchestra.
Violinist Janine Jansen makes her Philadelphia Orchestra debut April 19-21, 2007, playing Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with Donald Runnicles conducting. Tickets and More Information.
Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Flute Jeffrey Khaner teaches at the Curtis Institute of Music. Orchestra horn Adam Unsworth teaches at Temple University. They each talk about how they are passing on their musical gifts to new generations of young artists.
