It has been an absolute privilege and honor to be alongside The Philadelphia Orchestra during their 2004 European tour. Now at the halfway point of the journey, I am finally acclimated to the time differences and hectic schedule, trying to fit in as much sightseeing as possible without exhausting myself before attending the Orchestra’s evening concerts. This trip has been especially exciting for me because it is also my first voyage to Europe. Besides seeing all the incredible sights in these beautiful cities, hearing the Orchestra play in some of the world’s most renowned concert halls has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Each city thus far has been so culturally fulfilling, and I look forward to what the next week will bring.
