The Philadelphia Orchestra will fly over 20,600 miles in 24 days. This will be the Orchestra's 12th Tour of Asia since 1967.

Touring eight cities in three weeks, the Orchestra will perform 15 concerts. Over 30,000 pounds of instruments, trunks and luggage will accompany 107 musicians.

In addition, you can tune in to WRTI-FM 90.1, or log on to www.wrti.org, for "Notes from the Road," as Jim Cotter reports on his travels with The Philadelphia Orchestra in Asia. Listen to stories from abroad Monday, May 23 through Friday, May 27, and from Monday, May 30 through Friday, June 3, at 8:40 am and 5:40 pm, and at various times throughout the day. Tune in on Saturday, June 4 at 11:00 am for a special compilation airing on Creatively Speaking! Audio of all "Notes from the Road" features will be archived at www.wrti.org.
