A per-ticket service fee equal to 10% of the ticket price is added to all Philadelphia Orchestra orders for concerts you will attend in person. These service fees are added to all tickets purchased over the phone, by mail, on the web, and at the Academy of Music Box Office and cover all the costs related to fulfilling your ticket order including labor, technology, equipment, supplies, and postage.

Tickets priced at $10 or less have no added fee when purchased at the Academy of Music Box Office.

Accessible Seat
 
  • These seats allow a patron to remain in a wheelchair.
  • A blank space is provided for the wheelchair.
  • Companions may also use these seats.
  • A "loose chair" is utilized for the patron in lieu of a standard fixed seat.
  • No stairs need to be navigated to access these seats.

If you have selected an accessible seat and do not require the features of an accessible seat, please remove this from your cart. If you were assigned this seat and did not attest to an accessible seat, this is allowed because we have released this seat for sale to the general public. In these cases, you will be sitting in a "loose" chair, not a fixed seat.

Companion Seat

 

  • These seats do not accomodate a wheelchair.
  • They are for use only by a patron who is attending with someone in an adjacent or nearby accessible seat.
  • Companion seats may be fixed or "loose" seats and may require navigating stairs.
  • If you were assigned this seat and did not attest to a companion seat, this is allowed because we have released this seat for sale to the general public.

 

Transfer Seat

 

  • This seat allows for a patron in a wheelchair to easily transfer from their wheelchair into this fixed seat.
  • Patrons can navigate to these seats without encountering stairs.
  • If you were assigned this seat and did not attest to a transfer seat, this is allowed because we have released this seat for sale to the general public.

Obstructed View: Your view of the stage will be blocked by a physical obstruction like a column or railing.

Limited View: Your view of the stage is restricted due to a side view and/or the higher seating level that will limit your
view of the stage.

Limited Comfort/Obstructed View: Your view of the stage will be blocked by a physical obstruction like a column or railing and leg room is limited due to the close proximity of the column.

Obstructed View Column: Your view of the stage will be blocked by a column.

Table Seating: Seating will be available for Round Tables and/or High Top Tables.
