This spectacular evening of music, dinner and dancing features special guest artist Hugh Jackman, internationally acclaimed actor of both stage and screen, who just wrapped production on the much-anticipated film adaptation of Les Misérables; as well as The Philadelphia Orchestra’s own dynamic new music director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. As a nod to the very first Academy Anniversary concert during which Eugene Ormandy shared his podium with Danny Kaye, the evening promises the ultimate in popular and classical programming which will be as dazzling as its guests—with everything from sweeping orchestral works to Broadway favorites.
