7:30 pm Verizon Hall
Mr. Williams returns to Verizon Hall once again in this special one-night-only concert, curated specifically to celebrate the connection Mr. Williams shares with our Fabulous Philadelphians and Principal Guest Conductor Stéphane Denève. Mr. Williams will conduct the second half of the program including music from Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Star Wars and more. As a close musical friend of Mr. Williams Stéphane Denève will lead a tour of Williams's music for screen and concert hall on the first half.

With his instantly recognizable scores, John Williams has redefined the art of film music. He has become undoubtedly one of the world's most accomplished and successful composers for film and the concert stage, in a career that spans over five decades.  This includes selections from iconic movies such as JFK, The BFG and Sabrina.  Also on the program is Williams's Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra featuring Carol Jantsch, Principal Tuba. Join us as Mr. Williams and Maestro Denève conducts some of his most treasured works with our Fabulous Philadelphians.
