Museum Of the Amer. Revolution
Continuing its work to reach deeper into the communities of Philadelphia, and as part of its ongoing commitment to community service, The Philadelphia Orchestra announces four free community concerts at venues and in neighborhoods off the Avenue of the Arts where the Orchestra is expanding its presence.
These neighborhood chamber concerts, featuring ensembles of varying sizes, will take place from April through July at the following locations: the Museum of the American Revolution in Old City, Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church in West Philadelphia, Historic Strawberry Mansion in East Fairmount Park, and Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown.
This event is free and open to the public, but regular museum admission is still required to access the exhibits.
Support for these concerts is generously provided by the William Penn Foundation.
