The DePue Brothers Band, featuring Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Jason DePue and Principal Timpani Don Liuzzi, performs at the Saint Augustine Academy's annual fundraising gala, The Sound of Success: Music for a Cause., Sunday, April 29, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at The Barn at Liseter, 303 Orchard Lane, Newtown Square. Tickets are $75, or $50 for Young Friends (under 30), and can be purchased here.

SAA's mission is to supplement classroom learning through academic support and exposure to the arts, serving 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade girls in Norristown.

Musicians from The Philadelphia Orchestra present a chamber music concert to benefit our Philadelphia community of Syrian refugees, Monday, May 7, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Philadelphia Ethical Society, 1906 Rittenhouse Square. The program will include works by Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, and Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Philip Kates (Longing, dedicated to our newly settled neighbors), and will be performed by Principal Horn Jennifer Montone, English horn player Elizabeth Masoudnia, Associate Concertmaster Ying Fu, violinists Jason DePue and Kates, and cellist John Koen. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and can be purchased here. Contributions of $50 or greater will receive mention in the program.
