Rachmaninoff The Bells

“What a gush of euphony voluminously wells” from Rachmaninoff’s thrilling work The Bells, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem. This unparalleled mashup of literary and classical titans explores the depth of our shared human experience through soaring choral and orchestral music. The Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, led by Joe Miller, joins Yannick and the Orchestra to present one of Rachmaninoff’s most magnificent works. The incomparable Daniil Trifonov also takes the Verizon Hall stage for Mason Bates’s Piano Concerto.

Please note: All Digital Stage events begin with a performance premiere, streaming in real time. Following the performance premiere, the concert will be available for ticket holders to watch on demand for one week.
