The concert hall, located in the Parc de la Villette on the edge of Paris, was designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 2015. The building is described on its website as “a rock-like building with the air of a hill. … Its brilliant spiraling aluminum forms surrounding the central concert hall contrast with its elegantly angled matte envelope, coated in a bird mosaic in varying shades of grey.” Photo by Todd Rosenberg

Oct. 29, Paris: A Patron Tour is accompanying the Orchestra in several cities, including Paris. Following the concert, musicians joined the patrons on the Bustronome, a double-decker bus with a panoramic glass roof.
