The Philadelphia Orchestra offers an array of resources to serve teachers planning to bring groups to one of our School Concerts.
Concert Preparation Materials
For the 2019-20 season, The Philadelphia Orchestra presents Link Up: The Orchestra Rocks. The Carnegie Hall website has many free digital resources available: https://www.carnegiehall.org/Education/Educators/Link-Up/Resources/The-Orchestra-Rocks
Teacher Workshops
The Philadelphia Orchestra’s free workshops prime teachers for the optimal experience in preparing students for School Concerts. At a workshop, teachers can deepen their understanding of the music to be performed at the concert, become acquainted with best practices for implementing the Link Up curriculum, and explore techniques for arts-integrated instruction more broadly.

Docent visits are free of charge and available to school groups who purchase 25 tickets or more. Request a docent presentation when ordering your tickets or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
PLEASE NOTE: Docent requests made less than four weeks before your scheduled concert may not be able to be accommodated.
