Performance Details

The Philadelphia Orchestra presents the annual All City High School Music Festival on Wednesday, March 4, at 7:00 PM at the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall.

More than 400 premier student musicians from Philadelphia public schools will perform in Concert Band, conducted by Dr. Patricia Cornett; Choir, conducted by Dorina Morrow; and Orchestra, conducted by Joseph Conyers. A combined finale performance will be led by Philadelphia Orchestra Guest Conductor and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Music Director, Marin Alsop.

Broadway actor and dancer James T. Lane, an alum of The School District of Philadelphia and All City program will serve as the evening’s host and featured finale performer. A highlight of the concert will be a performance by the 2020 All City Concerto Competition winner flautist Ruby Ecker-Wylie, a senior at The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, conducted by Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Timpanist Don Liuzzi.

The concert is free, but tickets are required. Seating will be general admission and is first come, first served.
