After a sparkling premiere in December, Wynton Marsalis’s newly minted Tuba Concerto returns for a one-night-only encore. Principal Tuba Carol Jantsch will perform this brilliant pairing of classical and jazz in Marsalis’s inimitable style. Yannick and the Orchestra will conclude the evening with Brahms’s magnificent Symphony No. 1.
