5:00–6:00 PM – Luminaries Reception, Academy of Music Stage
Elevated cocktail hour featuring a red-carpet entrance, celebratory toast, open bar, and heavy hors d’oeuvres

6:00–7:30 PM – Gala Soiree, Academy of Music Lobby
Festive reception with open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and musical entertainment

7:30 - 8:00 PM - Pre-Concert, Promenade down Broad Street with a serenade from brass funk band Snacktime as you make your way to the Kimmel Center for the concert. Enjoy jazz duo H20 on the Plaza Stage before entering Verizon Hall.

8:00 PM – Concert: The Philadelphia Orchestra Featuring Renée Fleming,  Angélique Kidjo, and host Jim Gardner, Verizon Hall in the Kimmel Center

The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Kimmel Cultural Campus join together in a new gala celebration to benefit the great stages of the Academy of Music, the Miller Theater, and the Kimmel Center. The Great Stages Gala—featuring a performance with Music and Artistic Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and a star-studded lineup of special guests—honors our shared history and heralds a new era for the performing arts in Philadelphia.

What does this event benefit?
Proceeds from the Great Stages Gala benefit the restoration of the Academy of Music and the programs and venues of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. 

What do I wear?
Black Tie attire is suggested

Where do I go upon arrival?
Registration will occur as you enter the Academy of Music 

How long is the concert?
The concert itself will be approximately one hour without intermission and concludes the evening.

What food will be served?
We are providing a range of fare, including vegetarian and vegan options, throughout the reception
