The Philadelphia Orchestra invites bass players of all ages and abilities to participate in an exciting community event. All bass players and audience members are welcome to join this fun experience, hosted by members of The Philadelphia Orchestra’s bass section and Kensho Watanabe.

PlayIN for Strings
Step onto Verizon Hall’s stage and sit side-by-side with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal for an unforgettable string PlayIN. The event will be led by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Conducting Fellow Lina Gonzalea-Granados on November 23, 2019.
Advanced and intermediate level string players (violin, viola, cello, and bass) of all ages are invited to join the musicians on stage in a shared music-making event that will excite and inspire.
