Concert Details

On March 12, 2020, The Philadelphia Orchestra, led by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, performed its BeethovenNOW: Symphonies 5 & 6 program to an empty Verizon Hall for live broadcast. The original concert had been cancelled to the public due to COVID-19. The program opened with the world premiere of Iman Habibi’s “Jeder Baum spricht,” written in dialogue with the two Beethoven symphonies.
