The Philadelphia Orchestra announces auditions for the following position:

Assistant Principal Bass

Preliminary and semifinal auditions will occur February 4 - 13, 2024.

Final auditions will occur April 9, 2024.

• If a member of the section wins the Assistant Principal position, the resulting section vacancy may be offered to another candidate.
• Employment will begin based on the winner's availability and The Philadelphia Orchestra's schedule.
• Candidates advancing to the last round of our auditions may be considered for The Philadelphia Orchestra’s substitute list.
